Birch Art Boards - Square/Rectangle

Our Birch art boards are made from Premium quality A grade 6mm birch ply giving a wonderful blond surface with excellent grain features.  The boards are left raw so the artist can prep the board to suit their needs.  These art boards are perfect if you want to use the timber colour and grain exposed in the background of your artwork. They’re super smooth and ready to paint on.

Our Birch art panel’s top surface is made with 6mm thick Birch and is then bonded to a stabilising support backing frame made from premium grade kiln dried pine. The total depth of the square/rectangle board is 38mm (32mm frame, 6mm top) making it a great depth if you are adding a floating frame. (see Floating Frames on our website).  The support backing measures 32x18mm for boards up to 80cm and 32x32mm for anything above 80cm.  Any board larger than 50cm will have corner and centre bracing included. 

All of our art boards are made using FSC certified sustainable timber by hand in Melbourne, Australia
