So whether you’re local or interstate, you’ll always have access to the very best art surfaces on offer.
We stock a huge range of art boards at our Bayswater location, including square, rectangle, hexagon and triangle shaped boards. We can also create specific shapes and sizes upon request. We specialise in primed, birch, pine and aluminium top finishes as well as custom finishes to suit your style and budget.
Because they are made by hand, our art boards are sturdy, strong and practical. You can select a raw finish, such as a birch or pine board. Or if you’re working in a specific medium such as resin, we can prime the surface with gesso to produce a white background.
Our art boards have been used by artists practising their Archibald entries at home. They are ideal for artists working in mediums such as alcohol ink art, resin art, oil painting, acrylic painting, Mandela art, charcoal art, paint pen & marker art, Graphite pencil art and more.
Framing
We also stock a range of floating frames to compliment your art board. These frames offer the perfect finishing touch and give each artwork a professional look. Choose from Beech, Vic Ash & Satin Black finishes.
Paper
If you’re looking for Yupo paper, we have an extensive selection on offer. This paper is used in alcohol ink art, watercolour and acrylic ink art. Our synthetic paper is sourced from high-quality manufacturers and from Melbourne-based art supply businesses. We also order directly from Yupo paper wholesalers so we can pass on the savings to you.
Art Tree Creations is the only Australian stockist of NARA Synthetic Paper, which is used for alcohol inks. There are so many benefits, including the ability to reuse the paper if you don’t like what you have created. This makes it an environmentally friendly choice, and reduces waste.
Letters & Symbols
We have a full range of 20cm high letters and symbols that have been double primed with a smooth surface, ready for you to create on. These can be covered with your favourite art medium like alcohol ink, epoxy resin, hand painting and more. We also stock serving boards, placemats, coasters and timber slabs to make resin tables and river tables.
